職場の差別について～血友病患者～

2005年6月11日日経新聞夕刊より。

血友病というのは、
先天的な遺伝子異常が原因で出血するとなかなか血がとまらなくなる病気です。
ただ、近年では、出血時の対処法も確立され、一般の人と変わりない生活が送れるようになっています。
ノボノルディスクファーマという製薬会社が血友病患者に職場差別についてアンケート調査を行ったところ、この病気を持つ事で、なんらかの差別を受けた人は38.8%に及んだという結果が出たそうです。

このような差別を受けた主な要因は、薬害エイズ問題に起因しており、これが誤解や偏見を生み、差別へと繋がっているようです。

病気に対する差別、容姿に対する差別など、職場では色んな差別があるのは事実だと思います。
これが0になったらいいんですが、なかなか難しいみたいです。
ニュースで、小、中、高校のいじめ問題を取り上げることがよくありますが、
職場差別もなんとかしないといけませんよね。
職場差別をしている人に子供ができ、そして、子供を教育していると考えると、いじめ問題もなくならないんじゃないかなぁと思います。
